SINGLE ONBOARD ACTIVITIES
You can do a lot or do nothing. You pick.
Some single passengers will want to sit around, read, gaze and just do
nothing during the day. Others may want to exercise, work out in
the gym, do yoga, play bingo, swim and otherwise be active from sunrise
to sunset. The choice is always yours and nobody will ever make
you do anything you don't feel like doing on a cruise.
Most ships have a daily summary or newsletter which is delivered to your
stateroom at night while your at diner and your cabin is being prepared
for sleep. These newsletters will contain what is happening the
next day, usually hour by hour and sometimes by the quarter hour.
From sunrise walks around the decks to yoga, bridge lessons, bingo, pool
parties, dance lessons, meal and restaurant times, the list goes on and
on.

Some gyms will be quite large and others small by modern ship standards.
You will find that many cruise passengers will use the gym so if there
is a particular routine you like, get there early.
On sea days, you will find most of the big mega-ships to be a pool party
from morning to night. The pool deck is usually the focus point on
the ship and you will go through this area several times a day and you
can be part of the fun and excitement or just lay back and enjoy
watching others have fun in and around the pool.
The big cruise ships will offer nightly entertainment and most have
large casinos. The ships will offer two shows per night, one for
the late diners and one for the early diners. It will be up to you
witch dining you want and ask you cruise professional about booking your
dining confirmation when you make your cruise booking.
